| Andrew R. Roszak “I was pleasantly surprised about how much history you learn in Andrew Roszak serves as Director, Pandemic & Catastrophic Preparedness, at the National Association for County & City Health Officials (NACCHO). Previously, he served as Senior Advisor for Special Health Affairs, Health Resources and Services Administration, US Department of Health and Human Services. He has also served as the Senior Public Health Policy Advisor for HHS' Emergency Care Coordination Center. During the 110th and 111th Congresses, Mr. Roszak served as a Winston Health Policy Fellow in the United States Senate. Immediately beforehand, he served two years at the Illinois Department of Public Health and eight years as a firefighter/paramedic in the Chicagoland area. Mr. Roszak has an AS in Paramedic Supervision, a B.S. in Fire Science Management, a Master of Public Administration and a Juris Doctorate degree.
