  • Panel Presenter, “Government Approaches to Community Violence:  Public Health and the Law,” The President’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing: Justice, Policing, and Public Health Symposium, sponsored by the SIU Law Journal and SIU School of Medicine in Springfield, IL (November 13, 2015).

  • SSRN has reported that the recently published article, Reverse Sunshine in the Digital Wild Frontier:  Protecting Individual Privacy Against Public Records Requests for Government Databases, in the Digital Evidence Symposium issue of the Northern Kentucky Law Review, has been on the following SSRN top ten download lists for the months of October and/or November: Macroeconomic Issues in Developing Economies; Legal Information Scholarship; and Law, Politics & the Media eJournal.

  • After presenting in September at the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center Shutting Down the School to Prison Pipeline Symposium, the article entitled Miranda in Mental Health:  Court Ordered Confessions and Therapeutic Injustice for Young Offenders is now submitted and confirmed for publication in the Nova Law Review in Spring 2016.

  • Provided an invited presentation on the burden of proof in sexual assault cases in criminal and campus disciplinary proceedings to the SIU campus-wide It's On Us Taskforce (November 4, 2015).
