Assistant Professor Ed Dawson talks with media about Supreme Court nominee

Assistant Professor Ed Dawson who, like Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch, clerked for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, spoke with local media about the nomination.
Professor Dawson teaches legislative and administrative processes, federal courts, criminal procedure, and civil rights litigation. His scholarship focuses on constitutional law, civil rights law, and federal courts.
He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and University of Texas School of Law, and former judicial law clerk to the Honorable Ed Carnes (United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit) and Honorable Anthony Kennedy (United States Supreme Court).
Between his clerkships and academia, Professor Dawson practiced appellate law in Austin, Texas, for eight years, most recently as a partner at Yetter Coleman LLP.
