Environmental Protection Agency
Although it contains a great deal of information, this site is relatively easy to negotiate. You can Browse by Topic, view an alphabetical list of Programs or Programs by Topic, or use the About EPA section to find a specific Office within the EPA. Besides the information provided in each Office's section, there are Laws, Regulations, and Dockets; Information Sources including publications, an electronic reading room (under FOIA), and an FAQ; and many databases and other tools providing environmental information about Where You Live. There is also a good search engine.

Department of Commerce: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)
The site index and site map let you access NOAA pages by topic. But you have to scroll more than halfway down the page to find links to the major Organizations or Services within NOAA and to the Offices of International and Legislative Affairs.
Department of Energy
Use the links in the left column to link to information on the Environment and Health, including the Office of Environmental Management, which has links to current and proposed laws, regulations, congressional testimony, and compliance agreements; the Office of Environment, Safety and Health; and the National Environmental Policy Act Program.
