Subscription Electronic Resources

The electronic resources listed below are subject to license restrictions on who may use the resources, and where and under what circumstances they may be used. Authorized users are listed after each resource.

"Available to SIUC Campus Users" means, generally, that anyone using a computer connected to the SIUC campus network has access. If you are affiliated with SIUC, you should be able to access these campus-wide resources from off-campus using your SIUC VPN.

"Available to SIU Law Users Only" means, generally, that anyone using a computer connected to the law school network, including members of the SIU Law faculty or staff and SIU Law School students using their Law VPN to access the law school's wireless network, has access. Members of the SIU Law faculty or staff and SIU Law School students should also be able to access these law-school resources from off-campus using their Law VPN. In some cases a login name and password is required and can be obtained by SIU Law Users from a reference librarian; SIU Law Users who have forgotten their Westlaw or LexisNexis login or password should contact their Westlaw or LexisNexis campus representative.

HeinOnline—includes full-text Law Journals, European Center for Minority Issues publications, Federal Register, Legal Classics, Treaties and Agreements, U.S. Attorney General Opinions, U.S. Federal Legislative History Library, U.S. Presidential Library, U.S. Statutes at Large, U.S. Reports and other U.S. Supreme Court information. Many of these collections include documents too old to be available online anywhere else (Available to SIUC Campus Users).

Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education (IICLE) SmartBooks (Available to SIUC Campus Users).

Index to Legal Periodicals Full Text, from WilsonWeb (Available to SIU Law Users Only). Works better with Internet Explorer.
