Helping to develop the Rule of Law in the aftermath of the "Arab Spring"
3L Stephanie Macuiba
"After the 'Arab Spring,' I was interested in learning more about one of the most complex regions of the world. To truly understand the region and the current political climate, I decided to spend my summer working at the Arab Center for the Development of the Rule of Law and Integrity in Beirut, Lebanon.
The experience has been extremely insightful and I have learned a great deal about the cultures and legal systems of the Middle East by researching and writing briefs, policy papers and proposals. I would highly recommend spending a summer interning abroad; the skills gained are invaluable."
