Heidi E. Ramos is a graduate of Southern Illinois University both for her undergraduate and graduate degree. She received her B.A. in Political Science in 1985 and her J.D. in 1988. Heidi comes to the
Law School with an extensive trial history, spending almost 16 years as an assistant public defender in Jackson County. Her case load included misdemeanor, felony, juvenile, and post conviction cases.
Heidi now serves the
Law School, its students, and the public, by working as a staff attorney with the
Civil Practice Clinic, as project coordinator of the Self Help
Legal Center, and as an assistant to the Public Externship Clinic.
