
Alice M. Noble-Allgire Service Professor Noble-Allgire is engaged in a variety of professional and community service. She has served as an associate editor of the American Bar Association’s Probate and Property magazine since January 2001 and on Illinois State Bar Association committees since 1999. As chair of the ISBA’s Standing Committee on Minority and Women Participation in 2006-07 and the ISBA's Diversity Task Force in 2007-08, Professor Noble-Allgire helped the ISBA design a statewide Diversity Pipeline program to help more minority students traverse the educational pipeline into the legal profession. She was selected to receive the ISBA’s Board of Governors Award in 2008. Locally, she is a member of the Jackson County Bar Association. A former member of the Board of Directors for the Carbondale Women’s Center, Professor Noble-Allgire still helps to coordinate fundraising efforts for the center and other charitable organizations. She also periodically accepts pro bono legal cases from the Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation.
