Elizabeth O’Neil has worked at the School of Law since 1986.
The Director works with the School of Law Alumni Association throughout the year planning activities and coordinating events. This office also collects work and home address information on law school alumni for event mailings. The Director travels to various alumni meetings and receptions in and around the state. Annual events include School of Law Homecoming/Fall Gathering, SIU Football game tailgates, alumni receptions throughout the state and working with class representatives on 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 year reunions. This position also coordinates with the Director of Admissions, Director of Law Student Development and the Career Services Specialist throughout the year on events and meetings.
The Director coordinates the annual fund for the School of Law, insures that donations are deposited into appropriate law school accounts and works with donors and alums in various giving circles. The Director also works and travels with the School of Law Dean and the Major Gifts Officer.
