Dr. Jessica Davis received her Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law in 1996, a Master of Divinity in Social Ethics and Philosophical Theology from Boston University in 1993 and Bachelor of Arts from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1990. In 2005, she received the Doctor of Ministry from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. Her doctoral research focused on Appalachian Social Justice. Presently, she is a candidate for the Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Administration at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
The Director of Law Student Development is the senior staff person with oversight responsibility for Career Services, including budget and planning, career counseling, and supervision of the staff. The Director is also responsible for coordinating and providing direct student services such as crisis counseling, student organization assistance, and other duties assigned by the Dean. The Director is also responsible for student affairs programming including the annual Awards Ceremony, Juris-in-Residence Program, and School of Law Commencement Exercises and receptions.
