Teaching
Interests: Professor Britton’s principal area of teaching
and scholarly interest is public law. To that end he teaches
Legislative & Administrative Process, Administrative Law,
Education law, and State & Local Government Law. He also
regularly teaches Negotiation and consults in the areas of
planning and employee relations for state and local government
agencies and for not-for-profit organizations. He also advises
schools and individuals in the area of special education law.
Graduate Legal Studies: Professor
Britton also directs the two graduate programs offered by the
School of Law. The programs are the Master of Law (LLM) a post
J.D. program, and the Master of Legal Studies (MLS) a post
baccalaureate program. Options in Health Law & Policy are
