Alicia Hill
Ruiz received a Juris Doctorate from Southern Illinois
University School of Law in 1994 and a Bachelor of Arts in
English/Rhetoric from the University of Illinois in 1991. Before
her current position, she worked as the Assistant Dean for
Administration. Prior to that she worked in the Alternative
Dispute Resolution Clinic, and directed the Illinois Agriculture
Mediation Program.
Her current duties include:
communications and data management for the School of Law
including the creation or coordination of materials for the
website, brochures, invitations, viewbook, media releases,
digest, bi-monthly newsletter, radio ads, newspaper ads; the
completion of surveys (e.g., ABA, U.S. News, etc); responding
to inquiries from the public for general information about the
School of Law in order to maintain and or improve community
relations; support for the Center for Health Law & Policy;
administration of Continuing Legal Education activities.
