Program objectives

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:

1. Describe the extent of and factors contributing to the problem of uncompensated health care
    in the United States.

2. Analyze current public policy alternatives and private initiatives
   aimed at changing the status quo regarding uncompensated health care in the United States.

3. Discuss ways in which physicians, health care administrators, and public policy makers
    can  work collaboratively on solutions to the problem of uncompensated health care.

4. Participate more effectively in organizational activities aimed at influencing public policy
    regarding the problem of uncompensated health care in the United States.
