Our students’ quality of life and cost-of-living

Because we think that education should be personally rewarding as well as intellectually challenging, we have created a non-competitive, highly personalized, learning environment for our students.

With one of the smallest student-faculty ratios in the country (12:1), students at the Southern Illinois University School of Law become closely acquainted with faculty and staff, as well as their classmates. Students enjoy 24 hour digital keypad access to the building and Library, which gives our students unlimited access to the resources of the School, including the Library, two lounges, and the School of Law cafeteria serving breakfast and lunch daily.

Did you know?

The cost-of-living for students at the Southern Illinois University School of Law is one third lower than the average cost for law schools nationwide. A lower cost-of-living translates into a reduced debt burden when you graduate.
