The SIU School of Law offers students a wide range of opportunities to help actual clients with real problems under the supervision of either a clinical faculty member or an attorney from the community including the: the Civil Practice (Elderly) Clinic, the Externship Program, the Domestic Violence Clinic, the Veteran's Legal Assistance Program, the Illinois Agriculture Mediation Program, and the Self Help Legal Center.
