Professor Holte Speaks about IP for Small Businesses
On April 7, 2015, the Intellectual Property Society had an opportunity to watch Professor Holte speak at the Dunn-Richmond Center Economic Development Center. Professor Holte spoke on subjects related to intellectual property protections for small business startups.
In attendance were not only law students, but business and science students who would soon be looking to protect their own businesses and inventions in their future.
Professor Holte spoke on subjects of trademark, copyright, trade secret, and patent protection. The presentation provided an overview of the requirements for protection and briefly illustrated the pros and cons of each. It was a wonderfully illustrative presentation for those interested in intellectual property and the protections it has to offer.
