Scholarships and Fellowships
First-Year Scholarships
Applicants who are admitted to the School of Law are automatically reviewed for the Law Honors Scholar award, the Diversity Scholarship award, and the Neighboring States Scholarship award; no additional application is necessary. Scholarship award notifications are included with the offer of admission informational packet. Recipients of the Law Honors Scholar award must maintain a median cumulative grade point average of 2.80 and be enrolled as a full-time student each fall and spring semester.
Second- and third-year Scholarships
Second- and third- year students may qualify for a monetary or prestigious award based on their scholastic ability, public interest work, area of legal interest, etc. The eligibility requirements vary depending on the award. These are open to all current SIU law students.
