Scholarships and Fellowships
First-Year Scholarships
Achievement Scholarships are awarded at the time of admission. There is no separate application process; awards, which range from $4,000 to full in-state tuition, are based upon LSAT scores and prior academic performance. Awards are for one year and will be renewed if the recipient maintains a full-time enrollment status and a 2.80 GPA for the second- and third-years of law school.
Second- and third-year Scholarships
Second- and third- year students may qualify for a monetary or prestigious award based on their scholastic ability, public interest work, area of legal interest, etc. The eligibility requirements vary depending on the award. These are open to all current SIU law students.
