Doctor of Medicine

Masters of Accountancy
During the first academic year of concurrent work on the two degrees, the JD/MaCC student enrolls only in the first-year law curriculum. Students must pass all required courses which currently consist of all first-year courses. Read more about the JD/M.Acc degree

Master of Science in Education
The Department of Educational Administration and Higher Education (EAHE) is partnering with the School of Law to offer a joint Masters of Science in Education (M.S. Ed.) degree along with the Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree. Read more about the JD/M.S.Ed. degree

Masters of Public Administration
All concurrent study students must complete either the M.P.A. internship experience and project, or the applied study project. Internships, for which six semester hours of credit are earned, normally are scheduled during the third or fourth year of concurrent study. Additionally, a faculty-supervised thesis or research paper is written on some administrative or policy issue in public administration. Read more about the JD/M.P.A. degree

Southern Illinois University Carbondale is one of the few institutions in the country to offer a concurrent degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Law.
