Nolan L. Wright Reference Librarian and Assistant Professor

Professor Wright joined the faculty of Southern Illinois University School of Law as a Reference Librarian and Assistant Professor in the law library in the fall of 2009, coming to SIU from the University of Texas at Austin where he served as a Reference Librarian and taught a course in advanced legal research. Professor Wright earned his J.D. from the University of Washington in 1995 and subsequently maintained an active legal practice in Seattle, Washington, with an emphasis on family law, employment law, and administrative law matters, before returning to school, earning a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) with a certificate in law librarianship in 2008 from the University of Washington. Professor Wright is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL), Mid-America Association of Law Libraries, and the Washington State Bar Association (inactive). |
