Southern Illinois University School of Law is an outstanding, small public law school that provides its students with an optimal mix of theoretical and experiential educational opportunities in a student-centered environment in order to prepare them for a changing legal profession in a global environment. SIU School of Law seeks to fill one variable time Visiting Assistant/Associate/Full Professor faculty position for the Fall 2013 semester. The curricular need is in the area of Tort law and Legislative and Administrative Process.

Minimum Qualifications:  Applicants must possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school or its equivalent and an outstanding law school academic record. Factors to be considered in assessing the academic record include: rank in class, participation on law review, participation in other co-curricular activities such as moot court, honors received, and other factors relevant to academic performance.

For Visiting Associate or Visiting Full Professor rank: three or more years teaching experience and demonstrated achievements in scholarship and teaching consistent with the tenure and promotion standards of the Southern Illinois University School of Law.

Duties & Responsibilities: Classroom instruction.
