Sue Myserscough

 

The Honorable Sue E. Myerscough is a United States District Judge for the Central District of Illinois, a position she has held since March 2011.

Prior to taking a seat on the District Court, Judge Myerscough served on the Illinois Appellate Court, Fourth District, from 1998 to 2011. Her judicial career also includes service as a Circuit Judge from 1990 to 1998 and as an Associate Judge of the Circuit Court for the Seventh Judicial Circuit from 1987 to 1990.

Justice Myerscough was in private practice in Springfield from 1981 to 1987. Following law school, she clerked fro the Honorable Harold A. Baker of the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois.

Justice Myerscough received her J.D. in 1980 from Southern Illinois University School of Law and her B.A. in 1973 from Southern Illinois University.
