U.S. Supreme Court - Alumni Group Admission Ceremony
Dean Cynthia Fountaine invites you to participate in a Southern Illinois University School of Law admission ceremony to the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States.
The ceremony and reception will be on Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Supreme Court of the United States in Washington D.C.
You will be responsible for making your own travel arrangements and you may bring one guest into the Courtroom to observe the ceremony.
Spaces are limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
If you would like to participate in this event, please reserve your space by contacting Billie Donas in the alumni office at 618.453.8710 or firstname.lastname@example.org. The following must be received by January 5, 2012 in the School of Law alumni office:
· $200 admission fee, payable to the “SIU School of Law” This is the fee charged the Supreme Court of the United States. (note: your check will not be processed until January, 2012).
· Certificate of good standing, from the bar of the state in which you have been admitted to practice for at least three years.
Reservations may be made for a continental breakfast before the swearing in ceremony. We will have a group photo taken in front of the Supreme Court Building.
